It wouldn’t be a proper last day without a trip to see some fuzzy friends! On their last full day with NSLC, students took a trip to the local animal shelter and were able to take part in testing newly admitted dogs for their friendliness, behavior, and overall good health! Afterwards, students met with Virginia Tech’s very own K-9 police dogs, and witnessed an up-close demonstration of their capabilities to work in dangerous situations. Check out the photos below!
