Students get to meet and chat with Professors of the Veterinary Medicine department at Virginia Tech in today’s series of guest speaker lectures! Dr. Chris Byron, Head of the Department for Large Animal Clinical Sciences, gives a profound lecture on Equine Care and details on the admissions process to Veterinary schools. Afterwards, Team Advisor (TA) Katie leads a short group project on Pharmacology and challenges students to work in teams to calculate the proper drug dose for specific patients.
